CPR training is highly valued by employers and in many cases a requirement of employment. There's no need to miss out on that great new job for lack of a CPR certificate.
No matter who you are it pays to have CPR and first aid skills because you can't learn them in an emergency.
Students must be 14 years or older. Students under 14 years must provide written permission to attend the course from their parent or guardian.
As per the ANZCOR guidelines it recommended that the HLTAID001 Provide CPR unit be completed every 12 months, therefore RPL would not apply.
Practical and Written Assessments - Practical assessment comprised of a scenario with an observation checklist used by the assessor. Competence may be demonstrated working either individually, under supervision or as part of a First Aid Team. Assessment will take place in simulated conditions that replicate CPR situations as realistically as possible. Participants will be given scenarios and where necessary this will include first aid equipment and resuscitation manikins. Written assessment comprised of multiple choice questions.
GROUP DISCOUNTS ARE AVAILABLE (conditions apply)
The practical assessment portion of this course is physically demanding and requires actual resuscitation practices to be performed on manikins. Please advise if you feel you may have difficulties.
